1920s Goodrich Tire Sign Antique 1930s Vintage Signage Rare Ford Chevy
The price we agree on is the price you pay to get it to your door! This is an original 1920s-1930 Goodrich Tire “curb sign”. Sometimes these double sided signs show up for sale by themselves, but rarely do you ever see an entire unit for sale with the frame and base! Yes, this sign is rusty and missing most of its original paint. However, what’s left has been preserved beautifully! The sign has pitting, but there are no rust holes. This sign spent its entire life outside in North Dakota (it’s quite dry here). The base stand pole is bent a little bit too. It’s very solid though! I did an entire YouTube video showing how I brought this sign back to life. The entire piece has been coated and preserved in boiled linseed oil dry to the touch. The fasteners all had to be replaced, but I used a matching set of old original straight slot machine screws fastened to original square nuts. You can patina them if you’d like! The entire display stands about 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide. It’s heavy – approximately 45 pounds. These were made to sit outside and not get blown over by Midwestern winds! The sign was near mint and the base/frame was spray painted flat black. It wasn’t perfect, but it was much nicer than this one. No international for this one – sorry. Any questions – just ask.
