Vintage AUTHENTIC 1970s GOODYEAR BLUE PORCELAIN LETTER SIGN COMPLETE WithWINGFOOT
1970s Vintage porcelain GOODYEAR letter sign. With the wing foot. This is in unbelievably great condition. It was found in an old barn in Winfield, Kansas back in the early 2000s. It was covered in mud/dirt which I believe actually helped preserve the porcelain. My dad cleaned each letter. He did not repaint or re touch any of them. This is the same condition they were found in minus the dirt and mud. Each piece is stamped on the back with Property of GoodYear. Each piece may/does have some flaws and chipping and or scratches which should be expected considering its age and where it was found. But its in excellent condition compared to others. Please see the photos Ive attached. It still has the original mounting hardware on the back of each letter. And when my dad mounted this sign in his shop he used the original mounting brackets that were on the back of each letter. He didnt drill any extra holes in the porcelain in order to mount it. It still has some paint from the original building it was hung on. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Wing foot measures 65 inches from end to end. Letters weigh 6 lbs each.
