Vintage 1960s Continental Tires Advertising Canvas Banner Germany Racing 14.5 FT. Huge approximately 14 FT 6 inches by 5 FT 7 Inches Continental Tires advertising banner with rampant horse design. The banner is made by famous German flag maker Bonner Fahnenfabrik. I believe it dates to around the 1950s/60s and I believe the material is a linen type canvas. Tag reads “Bonner Fahnenfabrik 33mm Bostfach 344″ and there is a metal tag 0071. Continental tires started using this logo with the star at the bottom in 1948 and stopped using the logo in 1979. Continental tires has been in business since 1871. One side has a rolled thick edge over rope and notches down the side. There is some staining in some spots and there has been no attempt to clean the item, it is estate fresh. There are no holes I can see. Please feel free to message any questions.
