I cant tell if the paint was later applied or if this was done prior to construction. The art could use a gentle professional cleaning and would show much better. The back of the frame has an attached bit of information about Hughie Lee-Smith along with information about the specific inspiration for this piece of art work. If you know anything about this 3D style by Hughie, please let me know. The lower left corner has a hand written pencil writing with NM5 3D. Im not sure what that means.
