Vintage GULF Tin Metal Tire Stand Advertising Tire Display Holder
We have a vintage 1950’s – early 1960’s tin and metal tire display stand. Manufactured by GULF Gasoline Co. Made in the United States. The design is dark navy blue on white. The block print font is extremely rare and hard-to-find for collectors. The display unit is clean, no debris. Minimal rust, and minimal paint loss/marks from wear & use. Please view all photos, as they truly show the condition. The metal frame is solid, secure and fastened in it’s entirety. The tin signs are intact, securely fastened by being curled and bent around the metal frame. No warping, the shape is symmetrical and the stand was tested, and holds a tire solid, no issues. The stand measures 13.2 inches long and 11 inches wide, and is 6 inches tall (deep). The signs each measure 12.5 inches at the bottom and then 11.5 inches at the top, and 4 inches tall. This is an excellent collector find, piece of North Americana, and Gas Oil nostalgia. The photos are most of the description unless unseen damage needs to be mentioned.
