Vintage 1940’s General Tire and Rubber Sign / Check out the cool pics on sign
Over 70 years old, this is a General Tire and Rubber Company sign from the 1940’s. The company is mainly known for it’s tires but it also manufactured rubber mats and other various products made of rubber. This sign is advertising rubber mats that are endorsed and guaranteed by “GOOD HOUSE KEEPING” as shown in picture #3. Check out the pics of the old stove and old fashioned wringer washing machine in pictures 4 & 5. The sign is 18 1/2″ wide and 7″ tall and manufactured by Midland Products Co.
