Vintage original advertising thermometer. OTASCO BRUNSWICK TIRES ECONOMY AUTO
Super cool and very rare vintage automobile advertising thermometer sign. Brunswick Tires Otasco Economy Auto. Oklahoma tire and supply company was known as Otasco. There was an otasco and a lot of small town downtowns. No doubt there are others out there but I have never seen one of these in my many years of collecting. Clean and good colors. Has a bubble glass cover with a rubber seal between the glass and the metal frame. Very very good looking thermometer. This antique thermometer is a hard one to come by. If you’re looking for one that not everyone else has and still looks great with strong color, this is a very nice one. Would be super neat in a garage, automotive shop, man cave, cafe, kitchen, back porch or front porch, and you name it. One of my all-time favorites out of my collection. I have had it for many years and the whole time I have had it for decorative purposes, so I don’t pay a a lot of attention to the accuracy but it is probably within 5° or so of the actual temperature. It could be adjusted if needed as there is an adjustment slot on the back side. It will be packed very securely and with the utmost care.
