Vintage 1949 CITIES SERVICE TIRES BATTERIES Vertical Advertising Oil Metal SIGN

For sale is a vintage original 1949 Cities Service Vertical Advertising Sign. As you can see some of the paint is gone. This got too close to a wood stove where it hung. Some of the brown heat marks were able to be removed by the prior owner using a rubbing compound as you can clearly see on the photos – I have not tried to clean it any further. There is a little slice on the top edge of the frame and rust and some jaggy edges on the bottom ledge. As you can see it is dated 3-49 on the bottom. This is a hard to find old metal sign. Please closely examine the pictures to see exact condition. I was lucky enough to find two of these THIS IS MY LAST ONE.
