Vintage 1930’s Goodrich Tires Porcelain Framed Sign Superb Day 1 Gloss. Outstanding and seldom seen condition. One of the finest if not the finest porcelain enameled condition. The sign was cut down maybe 70-80 years ago and lead welded at the bottom for some reason. It’s not due to rust as you can clearly see by this fine example’s rarely used shape, but more likely to fit into an area designated for this spectacular sign. The sign is very heavy 25-30lbs? It measures 18″ wide and 60″ tall. I’ve enjoyed it for almost 20 years. Find another porcelain face like this one. Look around and you will see most of the Goodrich signs in fair to poor condition. I’ve never seen anything even close to this near perfect example for being almost 100 years old.
